SMS Rail LinesSMS Pureland Division Since June 1994, SMS Rail Lines has provided custom rail service within the Pureland Industrial Complex in Bridgeport, NJ. SMS Operates 4.5 miles of track throughout the 3,000 acre industrial center with a focus on personal "local" service tailored to meet the demands of our customers. Situated just 12 miles from center city Philadelphia, with superb highway access, Pureland is the ideal location for your warehousing, distribution or trans-loading needs. Pureland is directly off exit 10 of Interstate 295 and just minutes away from the New Jersey Turnpike, Interstate 95 and the Delaware Memorial and Commodore Barry Bridges in the heart of the Baltimore to New York City Corridor. Rail service is provided by SMS to meet our customers' demands. Interchange is available 6 days a week with both CSX Transportation and Norfolk Southern Corporation through the Shared Assets Area (Conrail). SMS Paulsboro Division As of November 28, 2000, SMS is now providing 24 Hour, 7 Day contract switching for the Valero Refining Company in nearby Paulsboro, NJ. SMS performs all in plant switching moves and interchanges cars with Conrail Shared Assets in the Paulsboro Yard.
Penn Jersey Rail LinesThe affiliated Penn Jersey Rail Lines (PJRL) has provided an equally high level of service on approximately 3 miles of track, since June 1997. PJRL services the Penn Warner Industrial Park near Morrisville, PA, with an interchange with both CSX Transportation and Norfolk Southern Corporation through the Shared Assets Area (Conrail's Morrisville Yard). In May 2000, another mile of track was added to serve additional customers within the park and to provide for future rail access. Penn Warner Industrial Park is another choice location for warehousing, distribution and trans-loading. Penn Warner is easily reached by highway just minutes off Interstate 95 and US Route 1, as well as easy access to both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Turnpikes.
